    Job Description

    • As the Project / Senior Accountant you will work with the account and project managers to prepare WIP and Cost reports.
    • Maintain budget vs. actuals reporting and cost variance analysis
    • Oversee the month end close and full balance sheet reconciliation.
    • Support the CFO with adhoc projects.
    • Prepare full financials and monthly reporting packages, including analysis
    • Handle accrual accounting and revenue recognition.
    • Support inventory accounting (item setup, account mapping, cycle counts).
    • Collaborate and provide operations, sales, and leadership with financial insights.

      The Successful Applicant

      A successful Project / Senior Accountant should have :

    • A bachelor's degree in accounting or related field of study.
    • Have experience with Job Costing, WIP reporting and Percentage of completion.
    • Ideally have accounting experience from Construction, Design / Build, Engineering, or Aerospace.
    • Proficiency with a variety of ERP systems; ideally QuickBooks and Advanced Excel.
    • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to derive conclusions from numerical data.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • This is an in-office role based in South Scottsdale, AZ.
