Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking dedicated manufacturing technicians to join our team on 1st and 2nd shift. This role is crucial in the manufacturing and production of composite parts in the aerospace field, requiring attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This is a direct hire position with room for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture composite parts by following general instructions and sketches.
  • Engage in assembly and fabrication using hand tools.
  • Maintain and clean the workstation, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
  • Operate various equipment, including hand knives, power cutters, injection mold presses, and shop equipment.
  • Record fabrication or machine operating parameters accurately.
  • Utilize simple inspection devices such as protractors, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality inspection standards.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing or production, ideally in assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic math proficiency.
  • Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs. using proper techniques.
  • Steady work history.
  • Experience with composites is a significant advantage.
  • Manufacturing or production experience is preferred.
  • Possession of security clearance is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

    Hours

    1st shift : Mon-Fri, 6 : 00 AM -2 : 30 PM

    2nd shift : Mon-Fri, 2 : 00 PM- 10 : 30 pm

    The pay range for this position is $21.20 - $24.50 / hr.
