Kansas Licensed Network Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Sr. Network Security Engineer who will serve as a technical expert and mentor within the network security team. Key Responsibilities Manage multi-vendor firewall configurations and support secure network architectures in hybrid environments Act as a subject matter expert for network security, guiding internal teams and assisting in the development of firewall management solutions Build and maintain test labs for R&D, develop integration requirements, and provide technical assistance for complex network security scenarios Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 7-10+ years of hands-on experience in network security engineering with expertise in firewall configuration and management, Cisco networking, and F5 load balancing Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid network connectivity Strong background in security device management, including firewalls, IPS, routers, and switches Knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) to support automation and efficiency
