Job Title : Budget Analyst

Department : Finance

Reports to : Vice President of Finance and CFO

Join our Finance team as a Budget Analyst , where you will partner with Senior Leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing the annual operating budget, including premium, loss, and expense allocations.
  • Prepare and analyze business unit budget performance reports.
  • Support forecasting efforts and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Maintain and enhance the Annual Operating Plan reporting tool.
  • Collaborate with Business Analytics to improve data extraction and reporting.
  • Lead automation and efficiency initiatives within the Finance Department.
  • Manage NCCI financial data call reporting and industry comparisons.
  • Support rating agency report preparation and ad hoc financial analysis.

Qualifications

Education :

Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.

Experience :

One to three years in budgeting, data analysis, or financial reporting.

Required Skills & Abilities :

  • Strong analytical and financial management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with budget / forecast modeling and analytics tools preferred
  • Creative thinker with a proactive, self-motivated approach
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision
