General Responsibilities

To be responsible for oversight and implementation of the Operational Readiness and Change

Management strategy and collaborating with leaders across the operational and project teams to ensure

Epic go-live preparedness. To drive discussions with key stakeholders to document current state

workflows, identify future state expected changes, and analyze how these changes will impact end users

from both operational and technical standpoint. To escalate high risk changes as needed and lead the

development risk mitigation plans to address areas at risk for go-live readiness.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Manages the operational readiness strategy and plan.

2. Manages the timeline and scope of respective components of the operational readiness strategy.

3. Coordinates with workstream leads and application teams to ensure materials align with system

build and workflow.

4. Reviews and maintains governance and operational workgroup decisions.

5. Leads the planning and execution of operational readiness activities, such as operational / workflow

and technical dress rehearsals as defined during project planning.

6. Leads logistical preparations for operational readiness activities, e.g. scheduling and physical space

planning as required.

7. Documents, organizes, and maintains change impacts across the project stemming from current

state to future state Epic workflow changes.

8. Defines and implements the appropriate metrics to measure operational readiness across all

impacted areas.

9. Oversees change impact analyses to highlight areas of risk, identify potential solutions, and present

findings.

10. Collaborates with key stakeholders to effectively communicate goals and objectives of change

management and operational readiness activities.

11. Develops strategies to ensure successful adoption of future state workflow changes.

12. Assists with planning go-live readiness assessments.

13. Collaborates with the training team to ensure materials are aligned with and address areas with

high-risk change impacts.

14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years experience in change management and / or

operational readiness support required. Epic experience preferred. Work experience may substitute for

education requirement.

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

Epic certification(s) in area(s) of responsibility is preferred.
