As a key member of the R&D BAS team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.

Location : Carlsbad, CA

Position Summary : As a Project Manager you will work closely within a small dynamic team to complete several small to large projects. You will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments and goals of the organization. You will lead daily meetings to review project progression, performance of team members and recourse management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manager new product introduction and process improvement projects ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Report on project status and escalate issues to senior management as necessary.
  • Plan and implement projects while developing project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Manage the project budget
  • Allocate project resources
  • Present stakeholder reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage changes when necessary to meet project deliverables
  • Align with cross functional stakeholders to progress project to closure
  • Work under direction and mentorship of Sr. Manager PMO to refine leadership skills and grow professionally.

Minimum Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical)
  • 2+ years of related experience or recent master's degree in engineering
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Problem solving and leadership skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Project planning, risk management, time management and other project management skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and or change management

    • Travel Requirements :

  • Should be flexible to travel up to 5% of time

    • Desired Characteristics :

  • Experience with MS project management and other Microsoft tools.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and lean principles
  • Creativity, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Time management abilities.
  • PMP certification
