Quality Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team in Littleton, CO, supporting the testing of spacecraft components at our Deer Creek facility. As a member of the Integration, Test, and Delivery Quality team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to review test procedures, perform inspections, and execute test line operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all test activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures and standards. You will review and approve test procedures, evaluate anomalous conditions, and interpret technical requirements to ensure that our spacecraft components meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will also be responsible for driving continuous improvement projects, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our test processes. As a Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of testing activities, including vibration, stress, acoustic, functional, and thermal vacuum testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all test activities are properly planned, executed, and documented. Your expertise in quality engineering principles, practices, and standards will be vital in ensuring that our spacecraft components meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will also be responsible for interacting with the customer as needed, resolving anomalies, and becoming an expert on requirements and specifications. Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
