Engineering Program Manager Kentwood Michigan

L ooking for a trusting supportive company with caring culture DISHER is partnering with a customer in Kentwood MI that is looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager. Our customer is a leading provider of innovative plastic and composite solutions for the automotive industry. They specialize in lightweight durable parts that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What you will get to do :

  • Responsible for overseeing the development launch and lifecycle of key automotive programs with a strong focus on meeting customer requirements cost targets timing milestones and quality standards.
  • Experience managing programs with Ford Motor Company including an understanding of their systems processes and expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams from design through production launch.
  • Develop and maintain project timing plans budgets and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements throughout program execution.

What will make you successful :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience in automotive program management or related roles.
  • Direct hands-on experience managing programs forFord Motor Company.
  • Strong understanding of Fords systems launch processes APQP and program expectations.
  • Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional teams.
  • Financial and business acumen for program cost management.
