On call caregiver

We are looking for a full-time, friendly, and well experienced On-Call-Caregiver to add to our Care Team!

This position is for someone willing to assist the local seniors that CSC provides care for. This means being available 6 days a week to help cover our call-offs, new shifts, and partial coverages of shifts as needed. We would need shifts covered within 1-2 hours. Shifts will vary in length mostly between 4-12 hours. Some of the skills required to be successful for this position are being able to handle both male and female clients, their pets, IALDs, and ADLs. Having reliable transportation and being able to transport clients is also a requirement. We service all of Santa Clara County, but the majority of our clients are within a 15 mile radius of our office in Campbell.

Job Tasks :

• Monitoring vital signs and medication reminders
• Administer bedside and personal care, such as ambulation and personal hygiene assistance
• Perform housekeeping duties, such as cooking, cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, and running errands
• Companionship to the elders through activities such as board games, walks around the neighborhood, or watching a show, and more
• This position is hourly, and you will be paid for 40 hours worked a week regardless if you work less than 40 hours of that given week. Pay rate will be between $20-$22 an hour. Holiday and overtime pay are also possible depending when how long shift(s) was worked.
