Strong Knowledge of commercial, Avionic and Military design practices. Experience with thermal and modal analysis using Solidworks. Experience 3D modeling using Solidworks. Experience leading other engineers, mentoring staff and allocating manpower / workload resources.
Staff Director, Mechanical Engineering Responsibilities
- Drive methodology within the Mechanical Engineering group.
- Prepare for PDR’s and CDR’s and be the main technical representative for the mechanical engineering group.
- Communicate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
- Manage mechanical, Process, and Documentation staff, allocate resources, and direct the activities of other engineers.
- Mentor and train mechanical staff.
- Prepare, review, and oversee complete drawings and specifications
