Maintenance Manager
Our company is a design / engineering / manufacturing supplier to the automotive industry. Our interior products include instrument panel systems, door panels, airbag covers, sidewall trim, garnishment molding systems, and consoles. Exterior products include front and rear bumper fascias and systems, body side moldings, grille opening panels and reinforcements. Our exterior products also include large body panels, such as hoods and doors.
POSITION SUMMARY :
Apply knowledge of Mechanical and Controls Technologies to new and existing processes to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Direct and / or participate in root cause analysis and team problem solving activities. Train, coach, and mentor maintenance technicians and technical team members. The Maintenance Manager will report to the Plant Manager.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete ownership of the Maintenance and Reliability function
- Responsible for the training and development of staff
- Responsible for complete AM / PM schedule of all plant capital equipment
- Manage all external service providers and relationships with contractors
- Project Management activities inclusive of equipment installations
- Work cross functionally with different internal departments including Engineering, Operations, and Quality.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Candidate should have at least 5-7 years of Plant Maintenance Leadership experience.Degree is preferred but will consider candidates with applicable experienceExperience in high speed / fast paced manufacturing environment is requiredAbility to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with otherTechnical Position Qualifications
Strong Mechanical Aptitude.Injection Molding Machine Repair and Maintenance.Read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and prints.Over Head Crane and Forklift Operations.Optical, Inductive, Capacitive sensors.Power supplies and transformers.Knowledge of Common Machine Guarding Devices. Bumper Strips, Light Curtains, Pressure Mats, etc.Lock Out Tag Out.General machine safety, electrical safety and machine guarding : high level of safety awareness (OSHA, NEC and RIA).Supports Quality System for ISO / TS16949 2009 / IATF including but not limited to Corrective and Preventative Actions.Computer literacy and good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Additional Desired Experience
PLC hardware and software.HMI hardware and software.Networks & database operation.Servo and variable frequency drive hardware and software.Robot set up and programming.Vision systems set up and programming.Benefits Summary :
