We are seeking a skilled  Computer Security Engineer II  to develop, maintain, and implement information security standards, procedures, and guidelines for  mission-critical defense applications and databases . This role plays a key part in ensuring systems and databases remain secure from unauthorized access, detecting threats, handling disaster recovery operations, and solving complex security challenges within a DoD environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and implement  information security protocols  for applications and databases in compliance with  DoD cybersecurity regulations .
• Ensure systems and databases are protected from unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
• Monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for DoD projects.
• Implement security frameworks and protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity best practices into defense systems.
• Oversee  disaster recovery and incident response operations , ensuring rapid resolution of security threats.
• Apply  advanced cybersecurity principles, theories, and concepts  to complex defense projects.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior cybersecurity personnel.
