Position : Sr. Project Manager / Estimator

Location : Seattle, WA

Type : Full-Time, On-Site

Salary : $105,000 $130,000 / year

We are seeking an experienced Low-Voltage Systems Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating large-scale low-voltage projects, including structured cabling, fiber optics, access control, and video surveillance systems. This role involves conducting site surveys, preparing accurate project estimates, managing awarded projects, and ensuring all work meets quality and compliance standards.

Key Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years' experience estimating large low-voltage systems (structured cabling, fiber optics, access control, video surveillance)

RCDD or equivalent accreditation / experience

Solid knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, communication standards, and installation best practices

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, notes, and specifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and customer needs

Develop accurate bills of materials and obtain vendor pricing for cabling solutions

Perform take-offs, review specifications, and estimate materials and labor with precision

Coordinate with vendors for material pricing and subcontractors for service quotes

Prepare detailed cost proposals, including scope of work, using estimating software

Manage awarded projects and work closely with project foremen throughout installation

Prepare and submit post-installation as-built documentation and submittals

Experience

Construction estimating : 5 years (Required)
