As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Purchasing Associate to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Summary :

As a Purchasing Associate at WDC Kitchen & Bath Center, you will be responsible for supporting our procurement team in the purchasing of appliances, plumbing fixtures, counter tops, and mattresses. You will assist with vendor communications, purchase order processing, and inventory tracking while learning procurement policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in creating and processing purchase orders in the ERP system.
  • Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Support the procurement team with data entry, recordkeeping, and document management.
  • Track shipments and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.
  • Help maintain and update records of purchases, contacts, and vendor information.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

  • 2-4 years’ experience with purchase orders coordination, accounts receivables, or similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with proficiency in inventory systems and order processing software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Customer service or customer facing environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of, MS Office, excel used often.
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing and demonstrate good listening skills.
  • Minimum High school diploma or GED required
  • Schedule availability : Monday – Friday and occasional weekends.
  • Working environment & conditions : General Office setting, frequently sitting while using computer and phone.
  • Required to wear comfortable and office appropriate clothes within Business Casual standards.
