Job Title : Test Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Hardware Tester, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our robotic systems. This position focuses on conducting automated and manual testing using various robots and hardware fixtures.

Responsibilities

  • Execute pre-defined and documented test cases by following instructions to set up and run existing manual and automated test cases.
  • Work independently on projects while collaborating with developers, test engineers, and product owners to resolve any issues found during testing.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress and any issues encountered.
  • Conduct and manage various testing procedures to ensure performance and reliability.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with Python programming.
  • Hands-on testing experience with hardware, preferably robotic systems.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a lab setting with various hardware systems.
  • Excellent command of English with strong communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage lab activities and work independently on complex projects.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and debugging robotic systems.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve both mechanical and software issues in robotic applications.

    • Work Environment

    The engineer will be responsible for testing hardware devices such as laptops and tablets for the Touch / Pen, Keyboard / Touchpad, and Sensors subsystems. The role involves working with a team of developers, test engineers, and product owners to ensure that the hardware is tested and validated thoroughly. The engineer will be assigned work through ADO work items.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
