Lead Azure Data Engineer

Caesars has an exciting opportunity as a Lead Azure Data Engineer in our Data Engineering and BI division, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Under general supervision, this position focuses on ongoing development and support of enterprise solutions for data warehousing, enterprise analytics, and integrations across our enterprise transaction systems and support the ongoing buildout of our Enterprise data management and analytics environment on Microsoft's Azure platform.

Job Functions :

• Responsible for working with the existing team to design, code, and implement new functionality, support existing functionality, and support BI Developer and AI Engineer data needs on our Microsoft technology stack
• Should be comfortable working within a core team, occasionally interfacing with other technical stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Primary focus of this role is on building a robust, sustainable enterprise data environment.
• Recreating existing application logic and functionality in the Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, SQL Database, and SQL data-warehouse environment.
• Working with external partners to bring data into the firm's environment.
• Designing and maintaining database schemas.
• Working with the Data Architect to translate functional specifications into technical specifications.
• Work with external resources on large projects.
• Work with other internal technical personnel to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
• Support compliance with data stewardship standards and data security procedures.
• Apply proven communication and problem-solving skills to resolve support issues as they arise.
