What You Will Do :
As the Manager of Donor Experience, you will be a driving force behind maintaining engagement with our fundraising-related stakeholder groups, including our related stakeholder groups including our : Regional Advisory board, donors, partners, volunteers, students, and the community-at-large. You will help support our mission by managing fundraising and events to help secure vital funding goals. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, your direct support will be instrumental in fostering enduring donor relationships, executing comprehensive fundraising campaigns, and finding unique ways to engage volunteers. The ideal candidate will possess experience in event planning, exceptional communication skills, customer-service relationship management systems experience, and a proven track record in maintaining stakeholder engagement.
This role's significance will increase as our regional presence grows. Given that we are establishing ourselves in a new site, the Manager of Donor Experience’s responsibilities will adapt to match the evolving landscape in Detroit. Currently, there is a Fund Development Consultant that this team member will work very closely with to fulfill the organization’s fundraising goals. The successful candidate will be excited to build and manage the systems to support a robust community of champions to bring critical College Access and Success support to students in the Detroit community.

Oversee internal event coordination, manage Progress to Revenue Goal reporting for the event, guest engagement, and other critical metrics.

Work Schedule :
Monday - Friday 9 - 5 or 10 - 6 (local time), and flexibility may be requested; Additional hours as needed. This is a work from home position with in-person time required for events and designated team meetings.
Expected Travel :
Frequent travel across region, limited travel outside of the region (1-2 trips to other regions throughout the year)
