Director of Development

A company is looking for a Director of Development to implement and manage a comprehensive development strategy to support its mission and programs. Key Responsibilities Implement an annual fundraising plan, generating approximately $3M from institutional funders and major gifts Collaborate with leadership to identify and cultivate major donors while managing government grants processes Oversee gift processing and maintain accurate donor records, preparing regular reports on fundraising progress Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree and / or a combination of related educational and work experiences 5+ years in external relations, such as fundraising or public relations Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and project management skills Familiarity with databases and data management
