Education / Certification :

Required :

  • High School Graduate
  • Must have Texas Commercial or Texas Class C Driver's license.
  • Be insurable by the School District

Experience : Required

  • Truck Driving Experience

    • Preferred

  • Two years of truck driving and logistics experience.

    • Function

    Under the supervision of the Furniture Logistics Manager and Warehouse Services Manager, delivers furniture requested by school and offices.

    Reports To :

    Furniture Logistics Manager

    Responsibilities :

  • Drives delivery truck in a safe and professional manner.
  • Drives forklift in a safe and professional manner.
  • Loads furniture from Central Stockroom and Central Receiving to offload at delivery site.
  • Deliver items from Central Receiving to campuses and departments.
  • Deliver testing materials to schools.
  • Assemble furniture ordered by schools and department.
  • Substitute as Mail Driver when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.
