What are the core responsibilities for the role?
- Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks for various projects
- Perform civil engineering design and associated calculations and interpret plans from other engineering-related disciplines
- Apply technical expertise and be able to work with a project team on conventional and unconventional projects
- Perform independent research and delegate changing priorities
- Adhere to Horrocks safety standards to uphold a safe and efficient environment
- Work in a collaborative team environment and deliver accurate work product that is error-free
- Maintain a professional attitude and fulfill responsibilities with integrity
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies :
B.S. in Civil Engineering0-4 years of experience in civil design is . Entry-level candidates will be -consideredPassed Fundamentals of Engineering ExamHave a strong sense of urgency, time management, and self-initiative to meet client deadlinesPrioritize work to meet various project requests and deadlines, answering to various engineers and project managersBe able to develop designs and documentation using AutoCAD 3D Civil and other design softwareManage project data files from various sourcesBe proactive and responsive in effectively communicating with colleagues and clients, both in-person and virtually / remotelyAbility to travel and obtain field data on occasionMust be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing prioritiesWhy would a candidate want this job?
