Accounts Receivable Representative

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative II, responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third-party payers. Key Responsibilities Contact insurance companies for status on outstanding claims and process appeals Work with outstanding accounts receivable from assigned work queues and maintain productivity standards Phone patients for payment or payment arrangements on outstanding balances Required Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business administration preferred 1-3 years of professional / healthcare experience preferred 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience preferred Basic math skills and understanding of medical terminology Advanced knowledge of insurance processing, guidelines, and EOBs
