What You'll Be Doing :
You'll support our clinical team and physicians in delivering excellent patient care through hands-on procedures, documentation, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities :
Rooming patients and preparing them for examsAssisting with in-office procedures and setting up instrumentsManaging control logs and ensuring compliance documentationPerforming wound checks, suture / staple removal, and educating patients on wound careSpecimen collection and handling (venipuncture, urinalysis, prostate tissue)Administering injections (Lupron, Depo-Provera, Testosterone, Collagen testing)Catheter insertions / removals, voiding trials, bladder instillations, and teaching self-catheterizationConducting impotence testing (Doppler, Biothesiometry)Reviewing lab results and communicating with patientsPreparing charts and handling patient callsPerforming general clerical duties (scanning, faxing, emails, record keeping)What We're Looking For :
High school diploma or GED requiredCertified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferredBilingual (English / Spanish) is a plusAbility to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work efficiently in a fast-paced settingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsFamiliarity with clinical and clerical functions in a medical settingWork Environment & Physical Requirements :
This role involves standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting, and regular patient contact. Manual dexterity and comfort working on computers are essential. You should be prepared to work in a busy clinic and maintain professionalism at all times.
