Energy Market Consultant

A company is looking for an Energy & Transmission Markets Consultant. Key Responsibilities Perform complex electricity market modeling and transmission congestion analysis using the PROMOD market simulation model Analyze study results to develop actionable solutions for clients and manage client engagements Conduct business development activities and expand key client relationships Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, Math, Science, Finance, or related field with at least four years of relevant experience Experience in energy markets with modeling software such as PROMOD IV, Encompass, UPLAN, or Plexos Experience in the electricity industry conducting economic studies of conventional and renewable generation Strong knowledge of power markets and understanding of basic transmission system operations Proven ability to lead and communicate project results effectively
