Overnight Grocery Manager

Cosentino's Food Stores is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Overnight Grocery Manager to lead our overnight team. This role requires a strong leader with comprehensive knowledge of retail operations, product knowledge, and merchandising. The Overnight Grocery Manager is expected to oversee all aspects of overnight grocery operations, ensuring efficient stocking, sanitation, and customer service while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This position demands excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, coupled with a commitment to food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all overnight grocery operations, including stocking merchandise, loading and unloading, and warehousing activities.
• Manage and motivate a team of overnight employees, fostering a culture of positivity and teamwork.
• Ensure accurate and efficient product stocking, utilizing merchandising techniques to maximize sales.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage product ordering to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
• Utilize point of sale (POS) systems and selling techniques to assist customers and resolve issues.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Effectively communicate with daytime management and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, providing guidance and support to team members.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and excellent customer service.
