We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Des Moines, Iowa. Responsibilities :

• Conduct research and surveys to gather data, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions based on specialized knowledge and expertise.
• Provide strategic advice to clients or department heads, offering alternative solutions or recommending specific approaches to address business needs.
• Collaborate within an agile framework to ensure value delivery and adapt swiftly to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases, including functional, non-functional, and regression testing, while facilitating User Acceptance Testing with end users.
• Foster close collaboration with IT teams to ensure smooth project execution and successful completion.
• Coordinate all IT-related activities to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
• Proven ability to document, analyze, and propose process improvements or re-engineering solutions based on technical and business insights.
• Experience contributing to agile software delivery teams and understanding iterative development processes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time constraints, shifting priorities, and independent tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Familiarity with QA testing processes, both manual and automated, to support test case development and execution.
• Knowledge of industry trends and the ability to present technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Expertise in analyzing business strategies and user needs, translating them into detailed system requirements.
• Ability to guide business stakeholders through case development for new applications, including cost-benefit and risk-impact analysis.
