Sales / Territory Field Manager
Overview : AngioSafe is a Bay Area medical device company focusing on improving healthcare delivery through state-of-the-art catheter development. Our seasoned experts are committed to producing high quality and innovative products to decrease risk and improve outcomes of arterial disease.
We seek Territory Field Managers to drive and support the commercialization of our innovative catheters across the U.S.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct sales calls to healthcare professionals to promote medical products.
- Build, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, located at hospitals, OBL's and ASC's.
- Provide product information and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop sales strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market conditions to leadership.
- Stay informed of industry regulations, product innovations, and competitive landscape.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Attend medical conferences and events to network with potential clients.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Behaviors
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plusProven track record in medical device sales (7-10 years), preferably in peripheral or coronary interventions or endovascular marketsIn-depth knowledge of vascular anatomy, disease states (PAD, CTO) & procedural workflowsAlready established, or the ability to build, strong relationships with interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologistsDemonstrated experience navigating Value Analysis Committees (VAC) and supply chainAbility to manage office-based labs (OBLS), Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC's), and hospital accountsDemonstrated business acumen, with a consistent overachievement in quotas in capital and / or disposable device salesAbility to execute strategic territory planning, identify high potential accounts, and displace competitive productsSkilled in physician education & case support in Cath labs / OR settingsCompetitive economic selling, including ROI modeling and reimbursement knowledgeAdept in creating multi-touch account penetration strategies (physician, Administration, & supply chain)Comfortable discussing device mechanism of action and clinical data at peer-to-peer levelAbility to train Physicians and staff on device use and procedural integrationStrong aptitude for troubleshooting during live casesUnderstanding of competitive landscape (wires, atherectomy, IVL, CTO crossing devices, Balloons & stents)Self-starter with hunter mentality-focus on starting up new accounts, not just farming existing accountsResilient in long sales cycles with multiple decision-makersHigh-energy, credible presence in the lab, and confident with KOL interactions and clinical discussionsAbility and willingness to travel extensively within territory and occasionally nationally for key meetingsTeam player that is coachable & seeks continuing developmentDemonstrated ability to work independently and with inherent initiativeDemonstrated experience with MS Office Suite and Project Management toolsAngioSafe offers competitive compensation and benefits.
