A day in the life

This position is responsible for the collection of receivables within the first sixty days of billing. There is a team of five performing these duties in the United States. The collection team is part of the Lease Data Management Team which performs the review, entry, and lifecycle maintenance of customer leases into Yardi. The role will work closely with the Real Estate & Customer Experience Team, as well as the Accounting Team. In this position daily impact is made on the resolution of receivable balances.

Key responsibilities include :

• Provide a high level of Customer Service – develop and maintain strong relationships with external and internal customers, complete requests timely and accurately, ensure adequate customer service is provided to all customers.
• Responsible for the daily collection of respective markets outstanding AR under sixty days. Including, but not limited to : Updating system statuses.Entering notes detailing customer contact or unidentified cash posting.Assisting customers with questions relating to billings.Promoting electronic payment options.Any other administrative tasks necessary to assist with the collection or adjusting of account balances, i.e., account ledger review and explanation to external customers.
• Work with inter-departmental associates to complete administrative tasks needed for follow- up with customers and to resolve collection and payment disputes.
• Provide feedback on markets and collection progress for reporting throughout the month. Also, conduct meetings with each market to review receivables with Real Estate & Customer Experience Team.

Hiring Salary Range of : $53,000 - $73,000 ($25.48 / hr - $35 / hr). Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
