Job description
As a Failure Analysis (FA) intern, you will be exposed to several failure analysis tools and techniques related to, but not limited to, electrical test verification, and other relevant failure analysis techniques.
Complete all assigned training of failure analysis tools and techniques.
As a FA intern you will help / assist FA engineers with processes and techniques associated with failure analysis of integrated circuits.
Non-Destructive verification, including but not limited to Visual inspection, X-ray Inspection of Integrated circuits.
Inspection microscopy, including but not limited to optical inspection, SEM inspection.
Curve trace and electrical test verification of integrated circuits.
Will be also exposed to other FA process such as electrical fault isolation, sample preparation as needed.
Profile
Candidates should have a good academic understanding of electronic components and how they work. This includes resistors, capacitors, inductors, diode, transistors.
Candidates should have a good academic understanding of how a diode, MOSFET or BJT work. Have a good understanding of device level operation of MOS and BJTs.
Candidates should be self-motivated to learn and apply their academic knowledge to any assigned project.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a chemical environment.
Basic understanding and knowledge of LabVIEW is preferred.
