Assignment Length : 17 weeks
Location : Kent, WA 98042 (Seattle metro area)
Facility : 58 Licensed Beds, 3 Operating Rooms
Shift : 10-hour day shifts (start times between 6 : 30 AM and 11 : 00 AM)
Hours : 40 hours per week (guaranteed)
Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100-$2250
On-Call : Rotating schedule (weeknights every 1-2 weeks; weekends every 4-6 weeks)
Start Date : September 22, 2025
End Date : January 17, 2026
Charting System : EPIC
Equipment : Alaris, Pyxis
Scrubs : Provided
Floating : Possible to Auburn healthcare location

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience

BLS certification required

Experience circulating ortho, ENT, and general surgery cases

Scrubbing experience preferred

Pediatric OR experience strongly preferred

Travel nursing experience preferred, but first-time travelers are encouraged to apply

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Circulate and assist in a variety of surgical procedures : bariatric, ENT, fractures, general, gynecology, orthopedics, pediatric ENT, podiatry, robotics, sports medicine, total hips, and urology

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the operating room

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC

Participate in scheduled on-call rotations

Float to Auburn healthcare location as needed

Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
