Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer to enhance and optimize existing code bases and manage virtual infrastructure in AWS cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Enhance, optimize, and increase robustness of existing code bases Design and implement core architecture and capabilities for software applications Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure stability, security, and scalability of platforms Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Software Development with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's; or High School Diploma / equivalent and 9 years relevant experience Current Secret U.S. Government Security clearance required Proficiency in Python or Go, and strong knowledge of Linux systems Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS cloud infrastructure management Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and configuration management tools
