Calibration Operations Manager

Salary : $95k to $115k

Hours : Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm

Location : Panorama City, CA

You'll lead daily operations in a high-performing lab that delivers precision and quality where it matters most.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage day-to-day lab operations, meeting and exceeding financial targets including full P&L ownership.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team including technicians, customer service staff, and shipping / receiving personnel.
  • Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and exceptional service quality.
  • Support the development and maintenance of high-level lab accreditations such as ISO / IEC 17025, UKAS, and KEMA.
  • Solve complex technical challenges related to Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
  • Recommend and justify capital equipment investments that enhance lab capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites or other domestic / international locations may be required.

Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of calibration and repair experience, preferably with formal PMEL or equivalent technical training.
  • 2+ years of proven leadership experience in a technical services setting.
  • Expertise in Physical Dimensional, RF / Microwave, and general test equipment calibration.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team development skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs; standing and bending occasionally required.
