We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a Contract-to-Ongoing opportunity, with the potential for long-term placement after six months. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network and systems management and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving network infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and configure Cisco routers and switches to ensure optimal network performance.
• Administer and monitor Palo Alto firewalls to maintain robust security protocols.
• Oversee the operation of Cisco ASA devices, ensuring secure and reliable network access.
• Implement and troubleshoot Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) configurations to optimize network routing.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates of Cisco networking systems.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
• Provide technical support and guidance for network infrastructure improvements.
• Document network configurations and changes to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Evaluate and recommend upgrades to enhance system capabilities and security.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for network operations.
• Proven experience with Cisco routers and networking systems.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA devices.
• Solid understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its applications.
• Strong background in configuring and troubleshooting network systems.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in network security.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
