Are you a skilled CAD Designer with a passion for bringing metal projects to life? Border States Welding is looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Flandreau, South Dakota. This is a vital role where your expertise in Autodesk Inventor will be essential for our success.

We're a small, close-knit team, and we need a dedicated individual who can create precise technical drawings and designs that our welders and fabricators can build from.

What You'll Do :

Create detailed CAD drawings and designs using Autodesk Inventor for custom metal projects and client orders.

Work with clients and the team to develop concepts and translate them into a buildable product.

Generate accurate blueprints and technical drawings for the fabrication shop.

Ensure all designs are precise, efficient, and meet our quality standards.

Collaborate with welders and fabricators to troubleshoot designs and ensure a smooth workflow.

What We're Looking For :

Demonstrated proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or a similar CAD software is the primary requirement.

Proven experience as a CAD Designer or Draftsman, ideally in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.

A strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and materials is a significant plus, but not required.

Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

A solid work ethic and a commitment to quality.
