Job Responsibilities

  • Personalize Treatment Plans : Assess patients' needs and devise specialized therapy plans that assist them in reaching their functional objectives
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques : Apply evidence-based practices to improve patients' physical capabilities, cognitive functions, and everyday activities
  • Collaborate with Other Healthcare Professionals : Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure holistic care
  • Educate Patients and Families : Provide instruction to patients and their families on therapy methodologies for sustained progress outside of therapy sessions
  • Track Patient Progress : Monitor clinical advancements and modify treatment plans accordingly to keep patients on track towards achieving goals

Qualifications

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Continuing education or post-graduate certifications welcomed and supported
  • Licenses and Certifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR / L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
