Interim Director Of Case Management

An Interim Director of Case Management is needed to oversee day-to-day operations of a unit containing about 130 beds. Reporting to the Hospital Chief Medical Officer, this leader will oversee a team of 18 FTEs. Key responsibilities include maintaining day-to-day operations, continuing to implement process improvements, serving as a liaison with third-party payers, and managing both the Utilization Review and Social Services departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong case management background with leadership experience and the ability to be hands-on with all processes required for utilization and case management. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2 to 3 weeks of acceptance.

Bachelor's degree required. Active California RN license required. Three years of experience participating on a care coordination team in acute and ambulatory settings, with at least one year performing case management functions, is required.

Compensation Range : $165,000 to $175,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
