Agape Construction is residential remodel design / build company based in Kirkwood, MO. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented person with an eye for design to assist our clients in selecting their interior and exterior finishes within budget and in a timely manner and documenting their choices. Must have RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION KNOWLEDGE. If you have coordinated selections for new home buyers, this job may be a great fit!

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Schedule and perform selections meeting with homeowners, assist with choosing all interior and exterior finishes (conscious of client's budget and style for best outcome)
  • Meet with clients both in our on-site Design Center and at local vendor showrooms
  • Complete detailed Selections Sheet within specified timeframe for construction schedule
  • Be persuasive and confident - Get clients to make decisions!
  • Follow the budget, appropriately specifying & pricing materials including upgrades
  • Ability to sell additional interior design services a plus!

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Knowledgeable about housing industry products : cabinets, tops, flooring, tile, appliances, lights, plumbing fixtures, siding, etc.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and 2020 cabinet layouts
  • Understand allowances and can work within a budget
  • Passionate about design and can assemble a pleasing color pallet
  • Must be ORGANIZED and DETAIL ORIENTED
  • Understand basic construction techniques
  • Ability to render designs freehand or using a software rending program (ie. Chief Architect, Revit, Sketch Up) a plus
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills
  • Thorough, professional and good at documentation
  • Have a sense of urgency, able to meet deadlines, like to complete a project
