A Human Resource Business Partner’s primary responsibility is to ensure that HR initiatives align with a company’s overall business needs.
Responsibilities include :
Organizing and leading weekly or monthly meetings with field leaders to discuss ongoing business needs and develop HR strategies that support business objectivesPartner with field leaders to develop and retain top talent, focusing on areas like succession planning and performance managementProvide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.Support managers and employees through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.Communicating upper management’s goals to the HR and Operations leadershipDeveloping strategies to strengthen relationships between HR and the rest of the companyStaying up to date on HR trends and best practices as well as employment laws and regulationsBriefing HR recruiters about staffing needs and providing feedback about recent hiring successes and challengesWriting and revising HR policies to ensure alignment with company strategies and goals Ensure the consistent and effective implementation of HR policies and procedures across the organizationSkills :
Strategic Thinking : Ability to understand business goals and translate them into effective HR strategies.Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.Relationship Building : Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and employees at all levels.Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and resolve complex HR issues, often involving multiple stakeholders.Data Analysis : Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, make informed decisions, and drive HR initiatives.Knowledge of HR Practices : Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law in both the US and Canada. Knowledge of Mexico and Brazil is a plus.Coaching and Mentoring : Ability to coach and mentor managers on HR-related topics.Change Management : Experience in leading and supporting organizational change initiatives.Business Acumen : Understanding of the broader business context and how HR can contribute to business success.Education & Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, related field or professional experience equivalent; Master’s degree preferredA minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR roles within fast-paced and matrix organizations with a minimum of 2000 employeesFormal training in Employee Relations, particularly investigationsPrior experience with Paycom a plusAdvanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)Benefits :
