Job Title :  Senior Consultant – BI / Databricks 774

Location :  Downey, CA, 90242 (Remote)

Shift :  Standard, 40 hours per week

Assignment type :  Temporary (12 months   w / high chance of extension or possibility of direct hire with LA County)

Payrate :  $65-$70 / hour

Role Overview :

Senior Enterprise Architect role applying enterprise architecture principles to align IT systems with business processes.

Involves requirements analysis, needs assessments, integration strategies, and lifecycle sustainability.

Provides subject matter expertise in enterprise strategy, process re-engineering, solution architecture, and IT-business alignment. Qualifications :

7+ years applying Enterprise Architecture principles.

5+ years in a lead capacity.

Bachelor’s in IT or Engineering (experience may substitute).

Knowledge in HR & Finance domains.

Strong client interaction (requirements gathering, status meetings, presentations).

Telework allowed. Preferred Skills & Experience :

Technical :

Power BI : Dashboards, Paginated Reports, Services, RLS, Gateway Management.

Cloud / Data : Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, pipelines.

DevOps : Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub.

Programming : Python, VB.Net, C#.

App Dev : ASP.NET Web Forms & MVC.

Databases : SQL Server (2014+), Oracle, T-SQL.

ETL / Reporting : SSIS, SSRS.

BI / Data Warehousing : SQL Server, Oracle.

Domain Knowledge : HR expertise.

Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, detail orientation, time management, and stakeholder management.

8+ yrs data engineering with SQL Server & BI stack.

5+ yrs developing financial / operational reports & Power BI dashboards / paginated reports.

4 yrs (in last 6) Azure environment (end-to-end).

4 yrs (in last 6) SQL query development, debugging & tuning.

3 yrs (in last 6) Data Warehouse (SQL Server, Oracle, Databricks), Power BI Report Builder, advanced RLS / OLS.

2+ yrs (in last 5) Cognos? Power BI report conversions.

2 yrs (in last 10) VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net app dev.

2 yrs HR domain knowledge, BI / SQL / Databricks / Synapse data models.

1 yr (in last 6) Cognos programs.

1 yr WebFocus BI portals / dashboards / reports.
