The terminal manager ensures daily operational activities, ensures efficient business processes, maintains company standards, and leads team of employees within a station. The terminal manager makes work assignments, tracks progress, creates and sends operational reports, along with trouble-shooting issues that arise daily.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Duties required but not limited to :
- Responsible for day-to-day AGI station operations
- Responsible for customer relations – day to day operations and 3 - 6 month outlook
- Develop, implement, and monitor the operational plans for our customer portfolio.
- Partner with HR to ensure quality of new hires meets needs of position
- Ensures training compliance and talent development
- Responsible for employee relations including recognition and policy compliance
- Work on all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people
- Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local laws
- Responsible for all aspects of the location budget and total oversight of the location.
Required Skills and Qualifications
5+ years’ experience leading team of 30+ employees5+ years’ experience with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecastingStrong knowledge of the airline and international air freight industryMinimum 3 years of ramp handling and aviation operations experienceProven success records in setting and achieving goals and targetsGood decision making, time management skills and communication skillsExperience in dealing with Local, Sales and Federal government agencies including suppliersKnowledge of computer software such as MS Work / Excel100,000 to $125,000 per year
