Overview
Acts as project manager on behalf of Paychex and the client for all areas of implementation utilizing project management principles for the most complex and / or higher revenue clients. Client complexities consist of size of business and multiple products creating a more robust and in-depth project plan to proactively identify risks and provide recommendations requiring a higher skilled Implementation Project Manager. These clients are identified as high priority clients to the company. The Project Manager identifies client expectations and priorities and communicates with internal partners to lead onboarding efforts, managing cross-product set up, directing team tasks, and creating and implementing client objectives and initiatives. Responsibilities Acts as project manager on behalf of Paychex and the client for all areas of implementation utilizing project management principles for the most complex and highest revenue clients. Client complexities consist of size of business and multiple products creating a more robust and in-depth project plan to proactively identify risks and provide recommendations requiring a higher skilled Implementation Project Manager. These clients are the highest revenue and are identified as high priority clients to the company. The Project Manager identifies client expectations and priorities and communicates with internal partners to lead onboarding efforts, managing cross-product set up, directing team tasks, and creating and implementing client objectives and initiatives. Manages client employees benefit onboarding process, including conducting the employee orientation meeting. Creates and manages an implementation timeline, sets expectations and defines responsibilities with concise communication, including all tasks to be completed to ensure a successful client launch. Establishes and maintains strong partnerships with product teams, Sales, Relationship Managers and Client HR team to ensure that all new and current client needs are assessed and met. Determines client product needs to ensure client expectations are properly set and exercises agility and strong communication skills when timelines change. Manages changes in project scope, identifies potential risks, and devises contingency plans to ensure client needs are being met. Manages communications and meetings with team members to ensure tasks are being completed and deadlines met. Provides Management team with regular status reports to ensure client satisfaction and progress is being met. Ensures all end-user documentation is complete and delivered to client, allowing client to effectively utilize product(s). Performs a professional and thorough transition of the client to the ongoing client service team by conducting an external debrief with the client and an internal account analysis review with the service partner to ensure a strong transition and a referring client opportunity. Makes recommendations regarding needs analysis and potential process improvements. Coordinates client training to ensure client expectations are met. Mentors less experienced Project Managers in Project Management skill sets and processes. Makes recommendations regarding needs analysis and process improvements for implementation team. Provides feedback regarding team performance to direct managers for each team member for continual growth and improved performance. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree - Preferred 3 years of experience in Client onboarding. Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $ $87, salary. . Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position.
