Job Title : Pricing Specialist

Job Summary : EMCOR Government Services has a need for a Pricing Specialist in Alexandria, VA. This person will be part of the Business Development team and will lead the preparation of cost proposals for facilities management, operations, and maintenance bids. This position involves analyzing, estimating, pricing, developing subcontracting requirements, soliciting request for quote packages (RFQ), reviewing quotes for reasonableness, and providing solution recommendations. The candidate must be able to analyze and verify SOW information, track project progress, and adhere to project pricing deadlines. Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated to accomplish and complete the assigned tasks and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Reviews Performance Work Statement / Scope of Work (PWS / SOW) from clients, verify accuracy, and develop questions as needed to start solution development.
• Independently builds out excel models based on client submission requirements.
• Works with Operations and Technical subject matter experts (SME) to prepare basis of estimates (BOE) and pricing solutions in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Develops workload estimates, basis of estimates, pricing models, pricing data
• Extracts Equipment Level detail from Solicitation to generate a Bottoms Up Labor Estimate
• Collaborates with the bid team to develop subcontracting requirements and test and validate estimates
• Creates and solicits RFQ packages to Third-Party Subcontractors, tracks progress, records pricing data, and submits to contract sites or Business Development (BD).
• Prepares & Analyzes Benchmarking Data to assist with the Labor / Material build up for Preventative Maintenance
