Job Title : SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Hours : 8am-5pm Mon-Fri + possible overtime
Pay : Based on Experience and Benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION listed but not limited to the following :

Individual with a positive, enthusiastic attitude who works well independently as well as being team oriented. Having a good sense of humor is always appreciated.....at least by me, hah

Ability to accurately install and / or remove propane tanks from customer's locations

Ability to accurately install, repair or trouble-shoot propane & natural gas appliances such as furnaces, water heaters, cooktop / ranges, gas logs, grills, firepits, etc.

Work with Service Coordinator on a daily basis regarding questions / information relating to scheduled jobs, paperwork, etc.

Ensure all Work Orders dispatched to you are completed properly and all pertinent info has been recorded on the specific Work Order and all paperwork / documentation is turned-in to Service Coordinator, on a daily basis

Review and organize (geographically) the Service Work scheduled for the next day's job(s) and make your calls to said customer(s) informing customer(s) of your approx time of arrival (2 hr window), the following day

Available to start work as early as 7am and work past 5pm (if needed), based on work load

Be prepared to fill-in for a Delivery Tech in case of sickness / vacation / emergency of Delivery Driver...the " Team Player " aspect

Available to work the "ON CALL" shift, ie; be available from 5pm after the close of business until 8am the following morning for the duration of approx one(1) week out of every month. NOTE : 24 Hour Emergency Service is available to our "existing" gas customers, should they experience a propane leak or run out of propane, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :

Good driving record

Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat Endorsement

Knowledge of Propane & Natural gas properties with some previous experience in Heating and / or Cooling

Clear diction, good communication skills and capable of calmly dealing with 'possible' stressful situations when dealing with customers.....PEOPLE.

Please list / include any License(s) or Certificates you may have, ie; Plumbers License, Gas Fitters License, HVAC, HAZMAT Endorsement, Journeyman's Card, Class B-CDL w / HAZMAT Endorsement, etc.
