Associate Systems Administrator

Associate Systems Administrator LaSalle Network is partnering with our client to hire an Associate Systems Administrator to take ownership of their Windows server environment and keep critical systems running smoothly. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role where your technical skills will be put to immediate use—supporting day-to-day operations while helping complete long-overdue infrastructure projects.

This role is opening after the loss of their long-time consultant, leaving the team without a dedicated Systems Administrator. You’ll be the go-to in-house resource, backed by project-based external support, and will get hands-on with both daily operations and upcoming upgrades—like completing the final stretch of their physical-to-virtual migration.

Associate Systems Administrator Responsibilities :

• Administer and maintain a primarily Windows-based server environment (98% Windows, minimal Linux)
• Spin up Windows servers from the ground up, following established internal processes
• Assist with the final stages of physical-to-virtual (PtoV) server migration
• Implement server-based applications, including Splunk and other enterprise tools
• Perform routine maintenance, including scheduled weekend restarts and shutdowns
• Troubleshoot server and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime
• Collaborate with external support resources for specialized project needs
