Senior Cloud Architect / Software Architect

Requirements :

  • Active TOP SECRET / SCI
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • 10 years' experience in design and implementation with distributed applications
  • Experience in software development tools and methodologies
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
  • Ability to effectively communicate across internal and external organizations
  • Experience with government and industry standards and specifications
  • Experience with DevOps strategies
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Experience in designing, describing, and documenting complex architectures
  • Experience in program roadmaps, execution of the program systems, security, systems engineering and operations
  • Experience in investigating and prototyping technical solutions to address customers' requirements

Certifications :

  • Dod 8570.01-M Iat Level III certification and compliance upon hire
  • Aws Solutions Professional Certification is desired; however, any other Aws will be considered

    • Job Duties :

  • Develop and coordinate cloud architecture
  • Develop a cloud strategy and coordinate the adaptation process
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and support the design for the optimal solutions to meet customer needs
  • Linux and Windows-based system administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
  • Configuration Management using CloudFormation, Chef & Puppet
  • Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell)
  • Experience in current Cloud technologies, architectures, best practices, cloud native tools, emerging technologies, and trends
  • Integration of cloud services
  • Ensure maximum uptime of cloud hosted environments, including production, staging, testing and development environments
