Manufacturing Engineer

Selectek is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in driving process improvements, supporting production, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about continuous improvement, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering in a production environment. Responsibilities : Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows Analyze production methods to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions Support new product introductions by developing and validating production processes Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and quality issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Design Engineering Recommend and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and cost estimation for projects Ensure manufacturing practices align with safety, quality, and environmental standards Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives Requirements : Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field Experience in a manufacturing environment (internship / co-op OK for entry-level) Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, process engineering, and quality tools Proficient with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ERP / MRP systems Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus Preferred : Familiarity with automation, robotics, or CNC machining Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices Hands-on ability to design and implement jigs, fixtures, or custom tools Pay Rate : $40.00 Term : 6-months temp to perm If you are qualified and interested in this opportunity, please send an updated resume to klankswert@selectek.net OR contact Kyle Lankswert directly by calling 470-203-9801.
