Job Type : Full Time, Direct Hire

Location : Denver, CO

Schedule : Monday Friday, typical work week averaging 50 hours

Compensation : Starting at $65,000 annually, with potential for higher pay based on experience and certifications; hourly pay structure

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineering Technician with 05 years of experience to support a variety of field-based geotechnical engineering projects. In this role, you will work primarily outdoors, performing testing, inspections, and data collection in all weather conditions. You will routinely use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety standards. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to meaningful infrastructure and development projects while working as part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field testing, inspections, and data collection for geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Operate in outdoor environments, including exposure to rain, snow, heat, and cold.
  • Use PPE and safety gear consistently in compliance with safety requirements.
  • Support project teams by providing accurate field data and timely communication.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, or geology.
  • 05 years of relevant experience, including internships or field work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions in a field-based role.
  • Commitment to following safety standards and using PPE as required.
