As a Business Development Manager at HHN, you will play a pivotal role in driving member enrollment and expanding referral partnerships. This is a sales-driven, quota-carrying role focused on building and closing opportunities with medical groups, Independent Physician Associations (IPAs), hospitals, emergency departments, and community stakeholders.
This role combines remote work, in-office collaboration, and field-based sales activities. You will thrive if you are competitive, self-motivated, and relentless in pursuing new business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Enrollment Growth
Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand HHN membership, with emphasis on Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles counties.
Consistently meet or exceed quotas for new referral sources, contracts, and member enrollments.
Build referral funnels by engaging hospital discharge planners, ED case managers, IPAs, and primary care networks.
Partnership Development
Cultivate and manage relationships with medical groups (e.g., Inland Faculty Medical Group, LaSalle), IPAs, hospitals, county agencies, and foster organizations.
Negotiate and secure referral agreements and MOUs to drive continuous enrollment growth.
Collaborate with Managed Care Plans and provider partners to strengthen HHN’s network presence.
Community Representation & Outreach
Represent HHN at health fairs, provider meetings, and community events, positioning HHN as the premier ECM partner.
Organize and lead community enrollment events and informational sessions.
Advocate for underserved populations while driving awareness of HHN’s services.
Sales Operations & Reporting
Manage sales pipeline through CRM; track leads, conversions, and projected enrollments.
Deliver weekly reports on sales activity, pipeline status, and performance against quotas.
Use feedback from stakeholders and community partners to refine outreach and sales strategy.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience.
Proven success in sales, business development, or healthcare network contracting with a track record of exceeding targets.
Strong network within IPAs, medical groups, hospitals, or Medi-Cal programs preferred.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with Medi-Cal, ECM, and community health programs is a plus.
Willingness to travel frequently across Southern California.
