- 0.6FTE (24hrs / week) Location : On-site | Menifee, CA Job Category : Advanced Practice Provider Overview A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) specializing in Women’s Health to join its team in Menifee, CA.
- This is a full-time, on-site role focused on providing comprehensive reproductive and preventive care to women across the lifespan.
- Position Summary The Women’s Health NP or PA will provide a full scope of gynecologic and obstetric services, including exams, testing, family planning, prenatal care, and patient education.
- The role requires collaboration with other providers, care teams, and support staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Key Responsibilities Direct Patient Care Conduct gynecological exams including pelvic, pap smear, and breast exams Diagnose and treat common women’s health conditions (e.g., menstrual disorders, infections, pelvic pain, menopause-related issues) Provide prenatal and postnatal care including regular screenings Offer family planning and contraceptive counseling and perform procedures such as IUD and implant insertions / removals Educate patients on reproductive health, preventive care, fertility, and pregnancy-related concerns Perform minor office-based procedures and follow clinical protocols Provide supportive counseling and guidance throughout care Provider and Team Collaboration Work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to deliver coordinated care Participate in team meetings and share responsibility for patient health outcomes Foster a positive clinical environment through respectful, effective communication Clinical Administration Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EHR) Order, interpret, and follow up on lab tests, diagnostic imaging, and screenings Prescribe medications and administer immunizations in accordance with clinical guidelines Stay current on clinical best practices, certifications, and organizational updates Respond promptly to messages and communications from patients and team members Support organizational goals through leadership, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction initiatives Qualifications Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with specialization in Women’s Health (required) Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license (required) Board certification in Women’s Health or Certified Nurse Midwife credentials (required) Valid DEA license, CPR and BLS certification (required) Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of OB / GYN care, including evidence-based practices Ability to perform comprehensive women’s health assessments and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach Skilled in using EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and office software Effective at managing multiple priorities and maintaining attention to detail Culturally competent and committed to serving diverse communities Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods during patient exams and procedures Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience and certifications 7 days PTO, 5 sick days and 2 floating holidays 12hrs of paid CME time with $1500 stipend Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is committed to building a diverse, inclusive workplace.
