Key Responsibilities for Electrical Field Leadership
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field electricians and service technicians specializing in residential service and repairEnsure all residential electrical projects and service calls are completed on time, within budget, and according to high safety and quality standardsOversee scheduling, dispatch, and resource allocation for the residential service teamConduct job site visits to support team members, monitor work, and uphold company standardsProvide technical guidance, resolve on-site issues, and foster continuous learningCollaborate with internal departments to deliver integrated home automation and electrical solutionsMaintain regulatory compliance with local, state, and national electrical codesDevelop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfactionBuild strong customer relationships by addressing service concerns and ensuring quality outcomesGenerate and review operational reports to track progress and identify areas for growthWhat We're Looking For in an Operations Manager
Proven experience supervising or managing teams in the residential electrical service industryJourneyman or Master Electrician license (Texas) requiredComprehensive knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and best practicesOutstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesFamiliarity with field service management software and reporting toolsCommitment to safety, continuous improvement, and customer service excellenceValid driver’s license with a clean recordQualifications & Experience for Residential Electrical Operations Management
5+ years of experience as a licensed electrician, with at least 2 years of people or operations management experienceExtensive experience in residential service environments; home technology experience preferredHigh school diploma or GED required; additional technical or management certifications are a plusDemonstrated ability to lead teams and drive operational resultsRole Overview
