We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our thriving Construction team. You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, and workflow coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management and will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a diverse team of professionals towards achieving common goals.

Responsibilities :

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.

2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

3. Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

4. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.

5. Meet contractual conditions of performance.

6. Review the work progress on a daily basis.

7. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

8. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.

9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

10. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.

11. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.

Qualifications :

1. Proven working experience in project management 5-15 years ideally.

2. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.

3. Expertise in construction project management software.

4. Understanding of all facets of the construction process.

5. Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.

6. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.

7. Competent in conflict and crisis management.

8. Excellent time and project management skills.

9. BSc / BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.

10. PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.

11. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

12. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

13. A team player with leadership abilities.

14. Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.

15. Project management and supervision skills.

16. Decision making ability and leadership skills.

17. Current engineer license in the state of practice.

18. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
